Caron US
Founded as Chit Chat Foundation in 1957 in Reading, Pennsylvania, Caron US was one of the first, and is now one of the most advanced, addiction treatment centers in the world. Caron US serves nearly 4,000 individuals (adults, young adults and adolescents) annually from across the U.S. and abroad. With 275 beds on its main campus, it is the largest single-site facility of its kind in the U.S. Caron US also has 130 beds in Palm Beach County, Florida at the Caron Renaissance facility; 40 beds at its new Caron Texas facility outside of Dallas, TX; and regional offices in New York City, Philadelphia, PA and Washington, D.C. Caron US is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The services offered at Caron US include gender-separate and gender-specific primary and extended care, a relapse programme and family education programmes. Caron has extensive experience in the treatment of co-occurring disorders (i.e. alcoholism and depression) within its patient community.
